TX Challenge Series Range &
Shoot Specifications
Requirements for a range to
host a TSCA Challenge shoot
- Entry Fee is mandated at $50 plus fees.
- Minimum 100 target, 12 station course + 1 side event (5 Stand, FITASC,
etc.) recommended to be a minimum of 50 targets, but not mandated.
- TSCA supplies gold, silver and bronze medals for each class. Host club
is required to provide HOA and concurrent awards (1st Place only).
- Qualified Trapper/Scorekeepers on each station is mandatory.
- Lunch must be provided but not included in entry fee.
- A minimum of 2 option pots are required. Class option and Lewis Class
Option.
- All scorekeeping must be done in WinScore or submitted as an Excel
file.
- All entries must be identified by their NSCA
# as well as full name, class & concurrent.
- Host club must provide the TSCA with an electronic file of the
tournament results with all out-of-state shooters removed. This file
should contain full info including NSCA # and full name of shooter, class
and concurrent and be importable as an Excel file. WinScore has a
program for this.
- This electronic file must be provided to the TSCA in the same time
frame as the mandatory shoot report filed with the TSCA. Failure to do so
will result in a $50 fine.
- Host clubs must have the facilities and ability to handle a minimum of
150 shooters.
- Drinking water must be provided at each station.
